Lydian League

Purpose : To provide a forum for people who would like to read and discuss various religious texts as well as the Bible in the context of our society

Meeting : We meet every Wednesday at 10:00 o’clock in the Church Parlor

Members: Anyone who likes to read and discuss books.

Program : The group reads and discusses texts from various sources in order to improve our understanding of the Christian faith and its application to today’s world. Thus far, we have read books by Strobel, Pippert, Yancey and Warren in addition to various books of the Bible. Also, we use recorded media (DVD) for the basis of discussion.

Current Study : “The Gospel of Mark” from the Wm Barclay study series of the New Testament

Special Activities : These activities are arranged as events dictate.
